Cognitive Surplus is a small and sustainable American brand committed to
a sustainable workplace, green materials and an inclusive team with
neurodivergent people and people with physical disabilities. For both their ecological and inclusive operation, they have won multiple awards at
including the City of Portland and the State of Oregon.

Their suppliers are chosen and selected with great care because of
their environmental and social impact. Many of their products are made in the
US, but they also work with suppliers in India (babybody's)
and China (shoulder bags and notebooks), who are either
WRAP-certified or audited by CS themselves and
can undeniably demonstrate that everything within their company takes place under
ethical and environmentally friendly conditions.

They are also of the principle that energy you can't save,
you can still offset. For every order they ship,
they do carbon offsets.
