Privacy Policy

At Fairy Positron, trade name of ghoti (hereinafter "Fairy Positron", "we", "us", "our") we value privacy. We process your personal data in accordance with this privacy statement. If you have any questions, you can always contact us at hallo@fairypositron.be.

Why we need data

Fairy Positron collects and processes customers' personal data for customer and order management (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency tracking and sending marketing and personalized advertising).

Reasons for processing data

Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6.1 (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR or AVG), i.e. we need data to store orders, accept payments, process shipments, contact if necessary and send newsletters.

Sharing with others

If necessary to achieve the purposes set forth, the customer's personal data will be shared with other companies (see below) within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly affiliated with Fairy Positron or with any other partner of Fairy Positron;

The companies listed below guarantee that they will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

• Shopify: www.fairypositron.be run on Shopify's web shop platform
• Sendcloud/bpost/DPD: they deliver the packages from Fairy Positron
• PayPal/Mollie/Klarna/Shopify: they manage payments to Fairy Positron
• Back In Stock: they will send you an email when an item is back in stock, if you have explicitly requested it.
• Judge.me: for reviews.
• Loyalty Lion: for our loyalty program.
• Email: for personal emails we use ProtonMail, for newsletters we use Shopify.

Retention period

Personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including accounting).

If you only provided us with data for a Back in stock email or newsletter subscription, you can have this data removed by sending an email to hallo@fairypositron.be.

Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of personal data

The Customer has the right to access his personal data at any time and may correct them (or have them corrected) if they are inaccurate or incomplete, have them deleted, restrict their processing and object to the processing of personal data concerning him on the basis of Article 6.1 (f), including profiling on the basis of those provisions.

In addition, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of their personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

In order to exercise the above rights, the customer is asked to:

• adjust his customer account settings himself; and/or
• send an e-mail to the following e-mail address: hallo@fairypositron.be;

Email provider

As our e-mail provider, we chose ProtonMail, whose core business is privacy. Every email sent to us is encrypted and inaccessible to ProtonMail.

Cookies

To optimize our webshop and get a better view of the number of visitors, which pages are visited most, etc., we use, besides functional cookies from Shopify, Stamped and Swym Wishlist Plus (e.g. for saving your shopping cart or displaying reviews), also analytical cookies from Shopify. All this data is anonymous and is not used for profiling. We do not use social media cookies or pixels to follow you. We only use our social media profiles to keep in touch with our followers and customers and to promote our products.
