We recommend carefully adjusting the ring to the desired size and from then on limiting opening/closing to a maximum. Frequent opening and closing can lead to faster wear and cracking.
Measure your finger with a string to determine the ring size. For a wide ring, take one size larger, as it will not only go into the crease of your finger but also above it. (Rings may vary from the size chart by a few tenths of a mm).

Like silver, bronze will eventually oxidize, although most of our bronze jewellery contain a ceramic coating to prevent/delay oxidation. Bronze that oxidizes becomes darker in color which gives the metal a beautiful, somewhat antique touch. Normally the darkening happens evenly, but cosmetics or chemicals can cause different (or even green) effects. Water and (hand) soap are not a problem.
When your bronze darkens, you can wipe it clean with a flannel cloth, possibly with a damp cloth with a little ecological detergent. After that, dry your jewelry thoroughly.
In some people, a bronze ring can leave a green-black shine; this is harmless and can be washed away. If you want to avoid this, it is advisable to keep the ring as dry as possible and possibly occasionally go over the inside of the ring with the abrasive side of a scouring pad.
